About Us
Blade Adjustment Company was founded in 2004 by Joseph Blade. He is a South Florida Native who attended college at the University of South Florida, graduating in 1994. He worked in Law Enforcement before making the transition to the Independent Claims Industry in 1997. Mr. Blade was a Branch Manager for a statewide Independent Adjusting Firm and relocated to the Orlando area in 2002. He now calls Lake Mary, Florida his home.
Blade Adjustment Company specializes in Homeowners and Commercial Property claims, Liability investigations, & Inland Marine claims. Our primary service territory currently includes 25 Florida Counties. However, we often travel outside of these counties to service the needs of our clients at their request.
Blade Adjustment Company’s commitment to our clients is to provide prompt, professional, and accurate claims handling. The quality of our reporting and service has enabled us to earn the confidence of our clients to undertake adjustments of the most complex claims. We have grown to specialize in claim re-inspections and are regularly called upon to act as Appraiser on behalf of various insurance carriers and Umpire by Appraisers. Large or small, our dedication to servicing our clients is never compromised.

Staff
Marie Barr – Office Manager
Marie Barr is our loyal Office Manager who has worked with Joe since 2012. She holds a Bachelors Degree from Keane University in Union, NJ. Joe and Marie previously worked together from 1997-2004. She is excellent! She is amazingly polite and helpful! You can always reach Marie at the office and she can usually answer your questions or put you in touch with the appropriate adjuster.
Joe Blade – President
Joe is a South Florida Native and attended the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. Joe began handling Liability & Inland Marine claims for a Statewide Independent Adjusting Firm in 1997. Shortly after, he began handling property claims. In 2002 he relocated to Central Florida to manage the Central Florida office. Blade Adjustment Company was founded in 2004. Joe is well known throughout Florida and enjoys an excellent reputation throughout the industry.
Adjusters
Nearly all Blade Adjustment adjusters have worked with Joe at some time in his career prior to joining the staff or personally known to Joe. Our claim confirmations always include the name of the assigned adjuster, cell phone, and e-mail address for that adjuster in the event you need to reach them. This information is always included at the end of our reports as well. Our staff is extremely responsive to the needs of our clients and usually always available to be reached.
